Track Of The Year nominee #10 – VANT

VANT

One of the main things that get us music fans through our day-to-day routine is having an impeccable music playlist to hand. No matter what the occasion we all like to tailor a playlist to our liking. However, without the vital resource of new music this simply wouldn’t be possible. Our sound of 2016 is one of the best we’ve had in recent years and owe a huge thank you to the musical talent supplying us with awesome tracks!

VANT, London-based band who call their sound ‘Modern Punk’, have smashed into the music scene via their heavily politicised and philosophical lyrics, dedication and passionate delivery which through their aura leaving listeners asking big questions about the current situation of our society. VANT formed in 2014 and have become the latest buzz band.

After growing in popularity after performing at Glastonbury ,supporting You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro plus Catfish and The Bottlemen and the releases of ‘PARASITE’ and ‘PARKING LOT’ in 2015 and ‘FLY-BY ALIEN’ earlier this year. The success of VANT in 2016 has shown that they have potential.

‘KARMA SEEKER’, VANT’s most philosophical track to date provoking deep thought and self-evaluation. ‘KARMA SEEKER’ incorporates hard-hitting drums and impeccable guitar along side Mattie’s raw vocals to produce a typical VANT single. ‘KARMA SEEKER’ lyrics query the meaning of life and promote the idea of living in the moment but the four-piece band are more interested in what listeners take from the single.

Keep an eye out for VANT!

The winners from each award will be announced on December 30th.
