Bursting out onto the scene in mid-2016, Shanghai Blues have released their new single ‘Tense’.
Lyrically engaging, lyrically intriguing and certainly Attitude filled, ‘Tense’ shows the true beauty of the fast-slow-fast ensemble. Their distinct vocal tone changes take what could have been a generic indie-rock track, but instead turn the piece into a ballad-esque work of art.
Hailing from East London Shanghai Blues are a 4 piece Indie rock band formed by James (Vocals, Bass), James (Guitar), Reece (Guitar), Micheal (Drums).
Over the last 12 months Shanghai Blues have wasted no time garnering the attention of tastemakers at Spotify (The Official Indie List/Hot New Bands/Fresh Finds), Apple Music (Best Of The Week), BBC Introducing and various international radio stations including USA, Canada and the Netherlands.
After selling out their debut headline show at The Social (Heavenly Records) in support of their sophomore release ‘Night Tears’, Shanghai Blues have just embarked on their first mini tour around the UK.
