East Love is an indie rock six-piece hailing from New York City. The band consists of lead vocalist Lukas Effman, acoustic guitar/bass and vocalists Robbie Fink and Alex Goldstein, electric guitar – Alex Utay, keyboardist Andy Koehler, and drummer David Berliner.
Their single ‘Sweet Arizona’ is their first of 2017, a year after the release of their six-track self-titled EP which included their hit single ‘Straight Lines’.
‘Sweet Arizona’ has an upbeat melody that is driven by a lively acoustic guitar, producing a more folk feel. The melody progresses into a combination of this same acoustic guitar rhythm, joined by a powerful percussion, bass guitar, and keyboard.
East Love has one main goal, and that is to “write and record honest music.” The blend pop influences into their music, yet always keeps it grounded when Robbie and Alex back up Lukas’ vocal in the chorus giving it a strong punch.
