Feel Alright only started out as a recording project by Craig Fahner in 2011 before turning into something special.
Feel Alright has evolved into a collaborative fuzzy garage pop project based in Calgary, Canada. They released their debut album the same year entitled ‘Hahahahahaha’. Sounds like the just had a bit of fun on that one.
Now with the release of two new singles this year, the sophomore LP ‘In Bad Faith’, will be released on May 18th via Pleasence Records.
New singles ‘Truth About Us’ and ‘Cool Water’ take you on a soulful ride into the unknown. Their experimental melodies and guitar-led riffs on ‘Truth About Us’ are to die for. The catch and upbeat intro a groovy rock ‘n’ roll gooey mess. It’s a brilliant track.
Frontman Craig Fahner on the new song: “I’ve always admired how great power pop songs can squeeze so much meaning and melody out of simple rock and roll truisms.
“Truth About Us is our attempt to pack as much energy and melody and love and mystery as possible into a three-chord stomper, in the spirit of Nick Lowe and Wreckless Eric.”
