The Lids return with new single ‘Delectable’

The Lids

Leicester trio The Lids are back with a fresh new single ‘Delectable’.

The band have been making all the right noises recently, being dubbed as ones to watch in Leicestershire since having festival performances at Tramlines and Y Not Festival last year.

Combining songs about teenage love affairs and riff-heavy choruses with the added flair and connection of two brothers makes the perfect match. Liam Butler (Vocals/Bass), Rhys Butler (Guitar) and Sam Deas-Bogie (Drums) are Leicestershire’s three-piece indie rock band The Lids.

‘Delectable’ sublime song that has a synthy twist before going all guns blazing in the last minute of the track. It’s perfect for moshing – you should check out their Facebook videos.

Having gained recognition from BBC Introducing and even with Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs on their side, and supported the likes of Superfood, High Tyde and The Sherlocks, The Lids have built a solid fans base and reputation from raucous live shows.

So much so that recently, Fuchs invited the trio to collaborate on his clothing range #NoFuchsGiven. Sounds pretty cool don’t you think.
