The Big & The Fat are described as an alternative electronic groove machine, and they’re not wrong. New cut ‘Fruit’ is packed with guitar licks and groovy drum beats, as the song progresses it gets louder and sexier with every note.
It’s a wonderfully sexy, bugged out recipe, a heady mix of Krautrock-inspired beats, distressed guitar, driving bass and simmering vocals. It’s the perfect introduction to a band you’re going to be hearing a lot about in 2018. Frankly, the music never tasted so good (if you pardon the pun).
Following a frenetic writing period in 2017, Big & The Fat broke out with their first shows across London last year wowing over fans and tastemakers.
This year, Big & The Fat dish out their first single as ‘Fruit / Crack Crack’ is to be released tomorrow, dropping on a limited edition pink vinyl plate through the newly formed We Can Do It Records.
