Will Joseph Cook delights fans with another track from his highly-anticipated debut album coming in the next few weeks. Cook has already treated fans to mesmerising bangers; Take Me Dancing, Girls Like Me, Sweet Dreamer, Beach, Biggest Fan and now Plastic which are all set to feature on his upcoming debut.
Plastic brings a fresh tropical sound to Cook’s discography, giving us another ingredient to his fruity punch that is, Sweet Dreamer. Cook claims ‘just don’t feel like dancing on my own’, He will definitely not feel like he is dancing on his own now, this track is hard not to get up and get your groove on, blending his gorgeous vocals, steel drums and simply feel good vibes.
The endless amounts of energy that Cook has managed to pack into each song is mind-boggling and his live show has even more energy. With each track, he has unveiled in the build up to the release of the LP, he has shown repeatedly, how he has mastered his style; simple, unique, and just pure brilliance.
Plastic is just one of those tracks that gets better every time you listen to it. Will has been working on his LP for the past 18 months and the hard work has really paid off. Cook mentioned in an Interview with me that, this track will be ‘the peak of the set’ and ‘one that will really go off’, we can’t wait.
The Tunbridge Wells indie wonder-kid will be embarking on a headline tour to celebrate the release of Sweet Dreamer starting off in Glasgow on 2 May and will close the tour with a huge gig at Heaven and then The Bullingdon, Oxford. This will be one you don’t want to miss, Cook has already teased he has big plans for this tour.
