Greatest Discovery Nomination #7 – Inheaven

Sound Of 2016

Throughout the year we strive to discover new emerging talent within the music industry. With a mini-music revolution taking part, bands are constantly forming up and down the country with new and innovative ideas and takes on the current music norms. With 2016 drawing to a close we are going to be nominating 10 bands who we feel are our greatest discoveries.

South London’s Quartet INHEAVEN hit our radar over the past 12 months and the four piece offer a dismal ’80s-appreciative indie rock, taking likeness to Jesus And Mary Chain and Echo & The Bunnymen thanks to its hallowed vocals and rhythmic beats.

Also after seeing them live at Reading and ranking them in our 5 top acts of the whole weekend, it was obvious to us that one of our Greatest Discovery nominations had to be INHEAVEN.

They have been making all the right moves over the past year and with a great summer full of festivals, they took things up a level with the perfectly pitched ‘Drift’. Chloe Little took turn as lead singer taking her infectious voice to the next level with their perfect indie rock sound. “I want someone to treat me right,” she demands, as it becomes clear that INHEAVEN are on their way to fame.

The winner of each category will announced on 3oth of December.
