Walk The Moon Are Back With New Track ‘One Foot’

Walk The Moon

American indie rock band Walk the Moon are back with their new track ‘One Foot’ in preparation for the release of their fourth album on November 10th.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting their new album following the success of ‘Talking Is Hard’ in 2014, which includes their most popular song yet ‘Shut Up And Dance’. The band was started back in 2006 by lead singer Nicholas Petricca, independently releasing their first album ‘I Want! I Want!’ back in November of 2010. The band has been nominated for numerous awards, winning two Billboard Music Awards in 2016 for top radio song and top rock song – Shut Up And Dance.

This synth-fuelled track is packed full of catchy drum beats and dancy grooves. Petricca spoke about the song in a statement, saying; “We’ve never felt more true to ourselves than we do right now, releasing this song and this upcoming record… ‘One Foot’ is the soundtrack of our journey this past year, moving forward even when the path is uncertain.”

Despite the song’s upbeat rhythm, Walk The Moon’s new tracks have been described as “raw lyrically”, speaking about numerous issues such as the passing of Petricca’s father last year, causing the band to cancel part of their worldwide tour. Notwithstanding the difficulties fought by the band in recent times, they have come back with another catchy tune, perfect for your party playlist.
