The kings of bringing back 90s indie ‘n’ blues rock music, The Strypes are Song Of The Week with their latest single ‘Great Expectations’.
The still young four-piece sees the band return to their Blues and Rock routes combined with their punk energy in ‘Great Expectations’.
With the album returning to their old routes we’re expecting a display of garage-rock revivalists and Ross Farrelly’s harmonica that everyone loves.
After releasing their sophomore album Little Victories in 2015 and since then have been touring the world and then back in the studio to start record their third album Spitting Image in their Irish hometown of Cavan (out this Friday 16th June).
Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Peter O’Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums) are currently on tour of intimate shows.
