San Cisco return with new music and album plans

San Cisco

Austrailian indie-pop quartet San Cisco make their grand return with a new single and their new album plans.

Jordi Davieson (guitar, lead vocals), Josh Biondillo (guitar, vocals), Nick Gardner (bass) and Scarlett Stevens (drums, vocals) bring us ‘Hey, Did I Do You Wrong?’ for their upcoming third studio album, The Water, which will be released May 5th.

‘Hey, Did I Do You Wrong?’ is a more laidback tune from the band, finding Davieson pondering a close friendship that’s slowly grown apart. It is a breezy summer anthem alongside the perfect music video to match. Watch the four-piece lazily drinking beers, playing music, hitting the open road, and wasting the afternoon by the beach in their hometown of Fremantle.

The tune has a widescreen Australian sound reminiscent of The Triffids, The Go-Betweens and Paul Kelly. And like those acts, the laidback vibe is undercut by searching lyrics that ponder whether or not a relationship has run its course.

San Cisco treated us to the slick and funky ‘SloMo‘ before Christmas making us very excited to hear what the rest sounds like.
