By Nottingham legend Saint Raymond is back with his addictive new track ‘We Are Fire’ – the second track to be out ahead of his next EP ‘A Light That Blinds’.
With the EP’s leading single ‘Nightcrawling’ already released back in October and receiving early support, exciting times are certainly ahead for this indie-pop singer.
The light-hearted indie anthem that is ‘We Are Fire’ draws on good times, encapsulating what it means to be human through “the emotions of the highs and lows”.
Saint Raymond spoke of writing this tune: “in the midst of touring and festival madness” and shows the “rollercoaster ride [he] was on at the time with life and music”.
The energy enthused throughout this track with captivating choruses accompanied by intense and punchy guitar undertones creates a high-spirited track perfect for escaping those winter blues. ‘We Are Fire’ is certainly one to watch.
After only releasing his debut album ‘Young Blood’ in 2015, it is safe to say that Saint Raymond is a rare talent, delivering passion and strong vocals few could match, reflected in the fact he has supported the likes of Ed Sheeran and Jake Bugg in previous years. If this is how he is to continue then no doubt we will be seeing much more of him in the very near future.
The EP is set to be released on November 17th.
