Natives share music video for ‘Pray’

Natives are back with new single ‘Pray’ along with a music video.

‘Pray’ is an anthemic call to arms and a determined stance of positivity from the New Forest quartet. Combining piano loops, sampled Japanese taiko percussion and tribal chants, before exploding into a stadium-sized and synth-laiden chorus.

The new single finds Natives at their most euphoric yet as they burst with Michael Jackon-esq melodies, infectious syncopated guitar riffs and their now-signature selection of world-music influences.

The new song is the latest in a recent string of highly acclaimed singles, means that the forthcoming second album is due out 2018.

Regarding the new single, Natives guitarist and synth player Jack Fairbrother says: “This song is a call to arms.

“It’s a moment of incredible tension where time is hanging on the verge of history.

“It’s also the best riff we’ve ever written!”
