He’s tried his hand at just about every genre out there, adding his signature folky touch to everything from rap to rock, and his live performances are something of an other-worldly experience – Jake Bugg never fails to astound me.
At just eighteen, his self-titled debut hit no.1 in the UK album charts, and at twenty-three he has three brilliant, wholly original albums under his belt and yet another lined up for September.
The indie-folk guru has gone and pulled it out the bag yet again with his newest track ‘How Soon The Dawn.’ A little less bluesy, a lot more boozy; buttery acoustics and smooth melodies mingle effortlessly with Bugg’s iconic voice.
Having already proven his undeniable mastery for both electric and acoustic guitar, this track seems more focussed around vocals, as dreamy harmonies take more of a limelight.
