From sold-out shows to false feuds Stockport five-piece Blossoms are ready to worm their way back into your ears with their infectious new single ‘I can’t stand it’.
Off the back of a whirlwind of success following the release of their smash debut album back in 2016 they had many fans questioning the bands future after a video surfaced of drummer Joe talking to a journalist about frontman Toms diva-like behaviour. The pair then continued to spat on Twitter where Joe accused Tom of making his mum wipe his arse and buy him a glove for when he eats Greggs to avoid burning himself.
A few days later it was announced that they would be premiering their new single ‘I can’t stand it’ on Radio One, leaving many believing the feud was a PR stunt, but nevertheless very entertaining.
The track was a brilliant choice for their massive comeback with its big Britpop-esque sound made up of charming synth chimes, rich rhythmic guitars and of course, Toms blissfully crisp vocals pushing the severely catchy lyrics.
The release of the single also came with the announcement of their album ‘Cool like you’ that is set for release on the 27th of April as well are an accompanying tour that kicks off on the 4th of May, full list of dates below as well as the bands self-directed video.
