Amethysts unveil new single ‘Purple Blood’

Amethysts are a duo from Suffolk who have released new single ‘Purple Blood’ following on from their successful debut hit ‘My Love’.
With their hazy electronics and bouncing guitars, Clarice and Simon have racked up over 250k plays and radio airtime from Tom Robinson.

‘Purple Blood’ mixes Simon’s wall of flowing guitar loops and swirling synths with Clarice’s daydreamy vocals, washing over over the deep bass that rattles through, while vintage Roland drum machines battle with live drums underneath.

Amethysts say of the track: “’Purple Blood’ explores want and need between two people’s lives and dreams – but is it enough to hold everything together?”
