By In a current climate where the world isn’t exactly ‘gracious’. Manchester five-piece AFFAIRS have released their new track ‘Gracious World’ with a bright and positive message.
Following from previous release ‘Life Of Leisure’, ‘Gracious World’ is steeped in sonic drama and luscious electro soundscapes, with a rich and textured vocal delivery dark in atmosphere. Lead singer, James Robinson’s deep vocals execute a deep bellowing sound, complimenting their dark beats.
Gracious World, produced by James Kenosha (Birdy, Pulled Apart By Horses, Marmozets) sees Kenosha’s guidance help shape the track into some of AFFAIRS’ strongest work to date, powerfully showcasing the band’s signature sound of blended synths and guitars.
Lyrically Gracious World focuses on the idea of longing for exploration and rejecting mundane routines. Guitarist Liam Grindell says about the track: “the idea of not being stuck to one spot with a set of forced upon responsibilities, and instead having the freedom and mind-set to see and discover all that the world has to offer.”
