The Winters

Somerset trio The Winters swiftly return with their sophomore single ‘Dream of Me’ as their melody-driven, high energy indie rock music is making getting noticed.

The Taunton-based outfit consisting of Joe Beckhelling (vocals, guitar), Matt Bowen (vocals, bass) and Sam Caburn (drums, vocals) have already reached over 2,000 monthly Spotify listeners since their debut release ‘We’re Still Kids’ and that’s only set to grow.

‘Dream of Me’ has been 10 years in the making since Joe wrote the track. It has evolved and developed over its lifetime, even being recorded as a demo three or four times by a couple of different bands. Now, at last, The Winters have released the final version of the track. It has soaring rock riffs with a powerful ballad alongside a rhythmic drum pattern from early 00s rock bands. Mixing a sense of longing with a gleaming hope that tomorrow things will be better

On the track, Joe said: “I wrote this song 10 years ago and it’s finally ready to release! We were thrilled by the response to our debut single ‘We’re Still Kids’, taking us from 0-1,700 monthly listeners on Spotify in four weeks.

“We were also humbled and extremely grateful for the reviews we received, and we really appreciate the positive impact that they have had on our growth as a band so far. Thanks so much to all of you who have already shown us support.”
