The Winters create melody-driven indie rock

Taunton-based indie rockers The Winters have just busted onto the scene with their debut single ‘We’re Still Kids’.

Characterised by their melancholic lyrics and melody-driven, high energy music, the debut number mixes nostalgia with a recognition of their utter social incompetence as the band struggles to keep on top of the mundane realities of their grown-up lives.

Comprised of Joe Beckhelling (vocals, guitar), Matt Bowen (vocals, bass) and Sam Caburn (drums, vocals), The Winters have a modern rock sound with rich vocals and groovy rhythmic sections. The song is about turning 19 and being expected to be ready for the world but inside, you’re still a kid.

Tomorrow (May 21st) the band will drop their second single ‘Dream of Me’ which can be pre-saved here. If you do that, one lucky winner will receive a free band tee.
