Northern rocker Sam Wilde has released his brand new EP ‘About Right’; a stomping homage of Britpop, indie rock and garage rock.

Hailing from Leeds, Sam Wilde’s EP was recorded at Greenmount Studio in Leeds and has elegantly brought out his musical personality – it’s ragged, raw and captivating from start to finish.

Throughout, it showcases all of the Wilde’s influences; kicking off with the rhythmic ‘City of Bones’ and alt rock number ‘Give up the Gun’, they show Wilde’s love for British guitar bands by paying tribute to the golden era.

‘In Your Head’ is a slow burner, enchanting the combination of different styles and ‘On The Run’ is a cool Britpop-tinted slice of guitar pop. Final track ‘I Found You’ brings out the dazzling pop sensibilities.

Sam Wilde showcases his innovative lyricism and an inimitable passion through his voice. ‘About Right’ is an enjoyable listen with well-constructed songs that are a true testament to his songwriting capabilities.
