Northampton indie rock gems Sarpa Salpa are premiering their music video for new single ‘Forwards Backwards’ today on ICM!
Last month, the five-piece was expected to record a music video for their first release since the debut EP ‘Say Something’ in January this year, but of course, a pandemic got in the way of everyone’s plans. So they went to their passionate fans for help to create their music video instead.
As Modern Age Music so eloquently put ‘Forwards Backwards’ is a “nailed-on summer favourite” and it’s hard to argue when the band have a knack for creating catchy, funk-filled pop with lush 80s inspired synths.
On the video expect “pumping party music” and an “inspirational build up” as fans and the band themselves perform some moves in the shower, in bedrooms and just about anywhere at home.
