Pizzagirl is back with ‘body biology’ and album announcement

Returning with his first single of 2019, Pizzagirl is now into the lead up of his debut album this autumn.

‘body biology’ is the first taste of what to expect on this blockbuster special which is inspired by a madcap tale of supermarket romance in body biology, inspired by the bubble, fizz and pop of glam, campy science flicks.

Winning critics and audiences over with a dozen tracks across two EPs in 2018, including ‘highschool’, Liam Brown (his real name), from Liverpool, has fine-tuned his hyperactive DIY-pop to an esoteric art.

The result is upcoming LP ‘first timer’, an album of split-personality genre-jumping that’ll have you bopping, laughing and crying before the closing credits.

“Fun is BACK!” Pizzagirl claims. “I have returned with a glimpse of the first of ten children I have given birth to over a record breaking few months – scientists are angry and doctors cannot believe it! A heartbreak ballad for the shopping aisles, a smash hit for the deli counter, a track just for you at the self-checkout, I introduce to you, ‘body biology’.“

Introverted in daily life, Liam uses Pizzagirl as a flamboyant alter-ego to be, say and do the things that he wouldn’t usually. The various tracks across the album are different costumes for Pizzagirl to wear, reflecting different moods and emotions, expressed as loose vignettes tied together as a complete whole.

Pizzagirl’s debut album ‘first timer’, set for release on October 11th.
