Modern Age Music Song of the Day: Rascalton – ‘Places We Go’

Rascalton have dropped new track ‘Places We Go’, their second release of 2020 following on from the well-received ‘Sign of the Times’.

The new cut is a fast-paced sub-three-minute blast of indie punk, with catchy guitar licks, a driving rhythm section and scuzzed-out vocal.

The band said: “‘Places We Go’ is probably the most we’ve written about relationships. It’s about the highs, lows and the need for some space sometimes. The different phases – and places – you find in throughout a relationship.”

“I like that it was a team effort between us and the producers throwing ideas about to make it sound fresh.”
