Reading quartet Mellor have opened their 2020 account with powerhouse new track ‘Heaven Isn’t Yours To Give’.

The single follows on from the well-received 2019 EP ‘Dive into the Strange’. True to form, the latest offering from the ICM Ones To Watch 2020 band is a pumped-up piece of indie rock with a driving bass line and impressive guitar work, including an atmospheric psych-tinged opening riff.

The vocal is commanding, and as always, the drums are prominent and impressively tight. The catchy chorus makes this one for the repeat button.
