Ones To Watch 2020: Mellor

Rising to fame is unsigned band Mellor who make it onto the ICM Ones To Watch list following a ground-breaking 2019.

The Reading quartet, comprised of Gary Kingham (vocals), Sam Igoe (drums), Kristian Bell (guitar), and Josh Woodward (bass), released their self-recorded debut EP last month titled ‘Dive into the Strange’.

Blistering guitars and energetic instrumentation, the five-track EP charted at number 33 on the iTunes Album Chart and 38 on the Amazon Album Chart. Now for an unsigned band that’s a creditable achievement.

After a busy summer of festivals packing out tents at Isle of Wight, Truck, and Camden Rocks just to name a few, Mellor are ready to hit the ground running once again with an Independent Venue Week show in Guildford (Jan 30th) and a hometown show in Reading with This Feeling (Feb 8th).
