Brighton musician Michael Clark reveals new single ‘Talking to Nobody’ with a double A-side ‘Winter Song’.

Following the release of his debut single in the summer of 2018, the artist has honed his sound whilst on the road with his band which is more stripped back encompassing an atmospheric and melancholic blend of indie pop-folk.

‘Talking to Nobody’ is the perfect example of that change with blissful piano alongside dreamy vocals and folk-tinged guitar which caught the attention of his peers and contemporaries while living down in Falmouth.

The ‘Winter Song’ is a gentle pop song with hazy and lo-fi rock sounds, blending nostalgic lyricism and subtle instrumentation in the process. Michael Clark’s stripped-down compositions create an enchanting sound that bewitches from the rumble of the first note.

Since the debut EP last year Michael has played two sold-out headline shows, supported The Leisure Society on their UK tour (which included a show at London’s Union Chapel) and appeared at Sea Change and Deer Shed festivals.
