Suckers for reverb and melody, London five-piece Kid Violet have a stunning edgy and dynamic sound that’s calling your name.
‘Be Happy’, the latest release from the indie rock n roll outfit is a catchy slice of Britpop with a lungful of wrenching lyrics and raw vocals.
Working with the renowned producer, Gavin Monaghan (The Blinders, The Sherlocks), Kid Violet unleash a heap of energy that takes to the likes of Joy Division, Arctic Monkeys and Interpol.
Lead singer, Billy says: “Our music is ready to pull at your heartstrings and blow your face off in a matter of seconds.”
Joining him are Pawel and Charley (guitar), Tom (drums) and Matteo (bass), who bring together all that love and energy together into joyful indie rock music.
As co-songwriter and guitarist Pawel explains: “We just start jamming, coming up with random riffs and then, out of the blue we have a new song. The dynamic is exceptional.”
Kid Violet have a new EP launching soon on Pin Badge Records, so 2021 is looking set to be an exciting year for the five lads.
