2017 was a massive year for Kent quartet Indoor pets known until recently as ‘Get Inuit‘ gaining the support of BBC introducing as well as playing an impressive string of sold-out UK headline shows.
Now they are ready to smash 2018 starting with their self-produced new single ‘So Soon’, they premiered the track on Huw Stephens show late Monday night starting the year off right and exciting many fans for the possible release of their debut album in the next twelve months.
The band have stuck with their classic roaring yet bubbly sound with its smooth pop sensibilities. The heavy drums in the opening instantly grab your attention before settling into the mellow track with its uniquely punchy vocals.
Frontman Jamie opened up about wanting to try writing a track about even the most cynical can fall in love after avoiding the topic when writing in the past. This shows a side of them that we haven’t really seen before, so possibly the upcoming album could feature these more vulnerable topics.
