By Throughout the year we strive to discover new emerging talent within the music industry. With a mini-music revolution taking part, bands are constantly forming up and down the country with new and innovative ideas and takes on the current music norms. With 2016 drawing to a close we are going to be nominating 10 bands who we feel are our greatest discoveries.
King No-One are nominees #1 and they have had a phenomenal year so far. With the band still on tour they are proving they aren’t finished yet and definitely want to take 2016 by storm.
From Street Performances to making appearances at some of the best inner city festivals in the UK, 50 BBC Introducing plays and NME club slots, King No-One have certainly got their name out there ready for 2017.
After releasing 3 tracks throughout the year, we have become hooked on their quirky indie-pop sound. Especially latest single ‘Alcatraz’. They’ve even got the nack on music videos as well with this colourful rendition to the track.
The winner of each category will announced on 3oth of December.
