For The Girl

It’s been a long time coming but Nottingham’s favourite indie rock sextet For The Girl are back with new single ‘The Tide’.

Since we discovered them all the way back in 2016, the band have undergone some serious changed in the camp following their last single ‘Wouldn’t You Like To Know’ in 2018, including both the lineup and a cutting new edge to their sound.

‘The Tide’ is a track that has been long awaited and definitely does not disappoint. With nods to recent successful trail-blazers such as The Amazons and The Hunna, For The Girl have ditched the synths and upbeat melodies to spice up their sound with fierce precision and a deafening sound. The track packs more punch with gritty guitars and strong lyrics and vocals.

This release is set to be the first of three upcoming singles, with this track alone serving as a mere taster for what is set to be a busy year for For The Girl. The band have a tour set for October already and are starting to fill their calendar for the end of the year and they’d love for you to be a part of this journey.
