Five lads from the Midlands, rising from playing at house parties with mates to selling out shows at the O2 Insitute and other sizeable Brummy venues like the Sunflower Lounge and the Rainbow Courtyard. Handpicked to play the BBC introducing stage at Great Escape festival ’17 and holding support slots for some of the fastest growing artists in the industry – These guys have something really good going on.

Clean sounding tracks, thick with energy and edged with a slight alt-j vibe, combined with a skill level that is well ahead of their years. It’s no surprise that Spilt Milk Society have had such a whirlwind beginning, the quality of music they are bringing to the scene  is only catalysing their progression.

Latest single, ‘She Tastes Like Summer’ is exactly what you want from an indie-pop summer track. Opening with soft guitar melodies and delicate vocals, steadily building up to an anthemic yet still fittingly delicate chorus. The vocals are captivating and charismatic and subtle harmonies, awash with melody notes, draw you into lyrics that are simple but sung so wholeheartedly.
