Crystal Tides tease debut EP with infectious single ‘Last Time’

Crystal Tides are back again with another slice of indie pop with infectious single ‘Last Time’.

The Portsmouth rockers are set to release their debut EP ‘Eat Your Words’, due May 28th, which will be filled to the brim with infectious melodies, ginormous guitar hooks and feel-good pop vibes.

Following up on their soaring indie anthem ‘Headcase’, the four-piece’s latest effort continues to drive their powerful music forward as Crystal Tides make big strides forward. Just like predecessor ‘Courtney Love’, it’s another huge indie anthem in waiting.

‘Last Time’ has a stomping and driving beat matched frontman Billy Gregory’s driving vocal presence gives off a bit of attitude on a topic that we’ve all seen before.

When asked about ’Last Time’, lead singer Billy said: “The track tells the story of having a friend who is in a toxic and abusive relationship.

“It’s obvious the relationship isn’t the right thing for them and your friend keeps telling you that they’ve had enough of it but they keep going back to the relationship.

“It’s about hearing the same old story from that friend after hearing it so many times and being bored of it.

“Everyone knows they shouldn’t be together.”

Both previous releases ’Courtney Love’ and ‘Headcase’ wsecured national UK and global airplay. ‘Courtney Love’ was by far the most successful of the releases, and the track spent a notable 6 weeks on Virgin Radio’s Daytime Playlist. It’s just a matter of time until they catch wind of this stomping single.
