Chad Male, better known as Cape cub has had a fantastic year after gaining the support of both BBC introducing and Apple music. Now he is back with a new single and it’s one you will not want to miss.
The track is called ‘Searchlight’ and is described by Chad himself as ‘A song for the night’ that is lyrically fueled by our dependence on others. Vocally and lyrically Chads vulnerability really comes through on this and It makes for a really emotively beautiful track.
The use of slow-building atmospheric synths mixed with the traditional piano creates a really warm delicate sound that complements the lyrics perfectly. It’s a simple yet cleverly built track that is a true reflection of Chads talent as a well-rounded musician.
