Glass Violet

Bristol five-piece Glass Violet have been putting their alt rock on the map in recent months and continue that upward trend with new single ‘Clockwork’.

Consisting of Tom Hurdiss (Vocals, Guitar), Alex John (Guitar, Vocals), Matt West (Drums), Josh Walsh (Bass) & Declan Pollard (Keys/Synth), the west-coast outfit deliver an anthemic set of songs with huge choruses and melodramatic breakdowns.

It’s the band’s third single since their formation last year and Glass Violet has a captivating sound instantly getting you hooked.

Speaking about the song, the band said: “It’s a song about time and space, and reflecting on becoming more conscious than ever about time ticking on.”

Having only played their first gig in March last year, Glass Violet have grown a solid fan base in a short period of time, and with more music in the works for late 2020 and beyond.

Following debut releases ‘Chemicals’ and ‘Over the Moor’ gaining attention from the likes of BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, and This Feeling. Drawing influences from artist such as Kasabian, The Killers and Foals, the band show no signs of slowing down until the football stadiums are filled.
