Best International Act nominee #9 – Tokyo Police Club

Tokyo Police Club

Being a UK website, it would be very easy to miss such talent that is only a plane away. But due to our dedication we want to highlight the significance that international music makes to the industry as a whole. It’s very likely that bands will often make an impact into other countries and create a following across all parts of the globe. Here’s a band that we would love to come to the UK sometime.

Tokyo Police Club are certainly no strangers when it comes to music with multiple successful albums under their belts. The indie rock band from Ontario, Canada. It consists of vocalist and bassist David Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook  and drummer Greg Alsop have been releasing some great new music recently in singles ‘Not My Girl’ and their EP Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness part 1 and part 2.

The winner from each category will be announced on Friday 30th December.
