Ginger Snaps is multi-instrumentalist singer and producer Jay Brook from Northampton.
The new single ‘Number Crunching’, produced by Jay Brook & Lee Irons is full to the brim with catchy hooks, its off-kilter pop is reminiscent of Beck in all his late-90s glory.
Beginning in April 2015, Jay and Lee set out on a new musical adventure, a recipe they’d been eager to debut for years through various musical endeavours but finally felt ready to showcase.
Jay Brook explains; “It was a point where I felt that weight and anxiety of living in the modern world.
“The lyrics do contain a little hope showing that moment when I realised that if I stay calm then I can deal with almost anything.
“Lee doesn’t often play slide but I really love his guitar riff on this track. I’m really excited to get some new music out there.”
