Atmospheric alt rockers Liars Teeth are the rising newcomers in London following their debut EP ‘Disorder’.

Born out of a dingy warehouse in East London, their sound straddles the line between catchy rhythms and experimental rock. Recorded at the Russell Keeble Music Recording Studio in the capital, Liars Teeth’s Corgan-esque walls of fuzz coupled with a tonal wash in the vein of Interpol and Pixies.

Comprised of Alex (vocals), Josh (lead guitar), Rico (bass) and Russell (drums), fused together with the sheer power of Soundgarden which their first track ‘Night Blooms’ proves. Next track ‘Gold Beast’ adds another layer of guitars to the mix with a growling bass striking its way through the track before swiftly moving into the penultimate song ‘Lost Blood’.

A slow burner with an elegant atmospheric as it glides straight into ominous drums and intense guitars break out later on. ‘No Path’ brings the debut Disorder EP to a close that has a bluesy tinge and a great rhythmic section over the crashing drums and cymbals.

This EP isn’t in disarray unlike its title, but a harmonious collaboration of alt rock with really catchy hooks and a powerful rhythm section. Check the EP out below and you can leave your own ICM Star Rating out of 10!
