2018 Ones To watch #3 – Pale waves

Pale Waves

Pale waves are a four piece hailing for Manchester, they formed in 2014 and in less than a year had already signed a deal with Dirty hit records, home to the likes of ‘The 1975’ and ‘Wolf Alice’.

Their single ‘There’s a honey’ was released in April of this year and gathered a large number of positive reviews praising the bands well-crafted synth-pop sound. This track was put out there and left to simmer before follow up single ‘Television Romance’ was released in late August showcasing a bit more of what they have to offer with its catchy hooks and swirling riffs.

In 2017 they also went out on tour with label buddies ‘The 1975’ supporting them on their North American tour that included a sold-out night at Madison Square Garden. Not only did they tour with The 1975 they have also had help from frontman ‘Matty Healy’ and drummer ‘George Daniel’ to produce their music and videos.

In December two more tracks joined their discography ‘New Years Eve’ and ‘My obsession‘ are both tracks off of the bands long awaited EP also titled ‘New Years Eve’ that will drop on the 18th of January 2018.

2018 is going to be the year that Pale waves find their space in the indie scene, they have got an extremely busy year ahead of them. They are heading out as headliners on the DIY Class of 2018 Tour in February as well as their own UK tour that is taking place in March, nicely followed up by having a slot at Community Festival.
