Voodoo Bandits return with new single ‘Empty Swimming Pool’
Isle of Man quartet Voodoo Bandits have made a blistering return with their new single ‘Empty Swimming Pool’.
The band recently shared a music video for the new track which sees the four making mischief at an indoor skatepark. With highly energised indie/surf rock, Voodoo Bandits are a bundle of cheerful guitar riffs, groovy basslines and energetic choruses.
Chosen as an ICM Ones To Watch 2020 artist, the quartet are making blindingly good progress with vigorous energy whilst putting teenage lifestyles at heart.
On the video for ‘Empty Swimming Pool’, the band said: “We wanted to create a fun, easy going, video that accompanied the vibe of the song. Expressing our personalities as a band; to us the song sounds like a skateboard on a half-pipe, if that makes any sense!
“So we went down to our local indoor skatepark, grabbed some B-roll of ourselves and some skaters and got jamming! To top it off we used some 90s video cam aesthetics to fit the theme.”
