Vancouver’s Coastal Town captivate you with harmonious indie rock

Vancouver outfit Coastal Town are new kids on the block armed with mentors and grit to push their indie rock across to the UK.

With the majority of their members still in high school, the band have esteemed Canadian musicians Kris Schulz, Kelly Brown and Jacob Seyer who are contributing to their development.

One of their latest singles ‘The A Plus’ is that motivational anthem you didn’t know you needed. The isolated vocals are captivating and engaging which get you hooked on the track. On top of the harmonious melodies and instrumentalization, you do feel weirdly relaxed and comfortable when listening to the song. If you are in school this would certainly be the ultimate track to get through the day.

Since forming in early 2020, Coastal Town are going with the flow and growing in confidence with every release. Now onto their latest single ‘Back To The Philippines’, the band have just finished up working on their debut album with producer Doug Fury (Bif Naked and Scatterheart) so there’s more exciting things to come.

Remember, if you study hard, you really can get that A+!
