Yorkshire’s Tranqua Lite will turn heads with their latest single ‘I Need One Leg For Balance’.

The progressive, high-octane tune explores the vast array of influences the band can encompass, placing their progressive roots into a palatable popular context.

The Leeds five-piece are idyllic and melodic at heart with a hypnotic blend of guitar driven alternative music. Tranqua Lite has progressed to become a nationally recognised name, their most recent shows taking them to the likes of Reading and Leeds Festival and Kendal Calling.

Their eclectic sound, an explosive palate of fruitful synth and bold bass, has made inroads into the music scene and is quickly becoming their trademark.

Lead singer Ben Marcano-Olivier said of the single: “This is our most collaborative approach to songwriting as a band we’ve had so far, and the playful nature of the music really reflects that for us.

“Despite the lyrical themes of struggle and hardship, it’s such a fun song and we love watching people finding their own groove to it.”
