Paying homage to some Britpop legends, Leeds outfit Tillerman eloquently capture the essence of 90s indie rock with new single ‘Rollercoaster’.
Since reemerging with a new musical identity in 2020, the five-piece showcase their evolution and commitment to creating music that resonates with those who love infectious, melodic pop-rock.
‘Rollercoaster’ features big guitars and catchy vocals that invite listeners to sing along. Working with Leeds producer Grant Henderson at Loom Studios, Tillerman have been able to draw on the classic era with a new twist by pulling influences from 70s blues rock guitar bands.
Speaking on the single, the band said: “‘Rollercoaster’ is a real fire cracker of a track, it’s pretty full on from start to end with big guitars and catchy vocals. There is no avant-garde pretence to this track whatso ever, it ‘does what it says on the tin’!
“Its a classic four-minute Britpop track that is designed to get you singing along and make you feel good. It will sound familiar to anyone who is a fan of 90s music and will hopefully resonate with a wide audience.”
Comprising of Jon Kulczycki (Lead Vox/Rhythm Guitar), Tom Kulczycki (Drums / BVs), Shaun Mallia (Lead Guitar) and Iain Moyser (Bass Guitar), Tillerman’s core is built around the two brothers.
