Cornwall quartet The Rezner bang them knockout riffs out of the park on their sophomore single ‘For Myself’.

The single encompasses everything the band represent; gnarly, in-your-face rock and roll that holds no punches from start to finish.

Nicely following up tjeir debut single ‘Micky’, the boys; Sam Stone (vocals and guitar), Redley Flowerdew (guitar and vocals), Liam Palmer (bass) and Ze Barradas (drums) are quickly snowballing into one of the most exciting groups around.

Featuring excessive downstrokes and a driving rhythm throughout, ‘For Myself’ overflows with attitude, aggression and spirit, with add ictively catchy vocal hooks that will soon be screamed out in venues across the country. Going in at full pelt and finishing in even more controlled chaos, this one doesn’t let up from the get-go.

On creating the track, Sam added: “’For Myself’ was a song wrote for those of my generation. A song to sing whilst all the negative press gets put behind the curtain for a short while.

“The whole story contained within the lyrics is all about letting yourself go as a young adult and fucking the rest of the world off,
freedom in other words. A release of positive energy for leaving behind the problems that shouldn’t even get to you in the first place.”

The Rezner has been noticed by Creation Records’ Alan McGee and even recieved radio time thanks to BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and are quickly getting accustomed to performing on some of the biggest stages in the business with slots at Leopallooza, Isle Of Wight, Boardmasters and The Great Estate.

Relentlessly doing their part for the revival of guitar music, The Rezner are without a doubt one of the most enticing up and coming bands around and they want every single one of you to get involved – who’s in? Grab a listen below and rate the single out of 10.
