The Real Cool return with their infectious follow up to their debut EP

The Real Cool

The Real Cool return with their infectious new single ‘Always Her’.

The Birmingham trio released their debut EP ‘Way Back’ in Spring this year nod to both 80’s and 90’s radio pop.

The multi-instrumentalists use their diverse musical backgrounds to create nostalgic heartbreak pop, entrenched in ‘Always Her’. The track sees the band touch upon themes that they have already clearly admired. The Californian sun aesthesia, draped in a romanticism for the song’s subject creates a fun-loving and youthful feel.

Formed with two brothers and a friend, the Birmingham trio have an ear for melodies and hookworms way beyond their years. And this is present in their new single, ‘Always Her’.

Of the track the band said: “Always her was written around the concept of finally falling in love with someone that you thought you never could.

“The feelings you experience in the early stages of a relationship, when you’re absolutely obsessed and can’t wait for the next time you’re together.

“We wanted to write a song that could capture that feeling, that moment and make our people want to turn it up real loud and dance like no one is watching.”

The Real Cool, formed in late 2016 are: Tom Barton – Vocals/ guitar, Ellis Garrett – Bass/ synth and Jacob Barton – Drums
