The Harriets

With the debut album looming ever closer, alt rockers The Harriets have shared lead single ‘Café Disco’.

The Leeds-based quartet will release their LP ‘Hopefulls’ on July 24th which is a compilation of love, time, memory, escape and the places of people’s lives.

Comprised of Daniel Parker-Smith (guitar, vocals), Ben Schrodel (bass, vocals), Jess Womack (keys, vocals) and Ryan Bailey (drums), The Harriets are a charming outfit with a delightful mix of indie pop and rock elements on top of an unmistakeable three-part vocal harmony.

‘Café Disco’ offers a fresh and unique approach to rock n roll with piano ballads and bouncy vocals gliding over the beats. The track was well-received by national and international press and radio for its highly accomplished songwriting and colourful, heart-swelling pop.

At the end of June, The Harriets also followed up on the lead single with ‘Trip To The Moon’.

Last year, the group was shortlisted for Glastonbury Emerging Talent and Record Store Day Unsigned. There’s nine tracks on Hopefulls and each one bottles the essence of the band’s uplifting and wholehearted live show, which was a first date sell-out in London and plans to tour the UK once current live music restrictions are lifted.

The album can be ordered on vinyl and will be available across all major streaming platforms next Friday. In the meantime, check it out below and leave an ICM Star Rating out of 10.
