‘Lights out in London’ by The Barratts – MAM Song of the Week

Northampton band The Barratts have dropped their latest single in the form of the instantly addictive ‘Lights out in London’.

It’s another gripping track from five-piece which blends a captivating indie flavour with some pertinent social commentary, with the band commenting: “Brexit drags on, venues drop like flies, and young people in Britain feel more disconnected than ever.”

An addictive indie riff rings through the song, and the vocal delivered by frontman James Faulkner is engaging and pleasantly understated.

The Barratts the single release with a launch party at The Roadmender in Northampton on April 13.
