Brighton alt-rockers BADLAWS. combine influences from the likes of Don Broco, Bloc Party and Yonaka to produce a concoction of heavy riffs along with the melodic sensibilities of modern pop music.

The female-fronted quartet met at university and formed in the Spring of last year. They consist of Lucy Hinton (Vocals), Daniel Bright (Guitar), Travis Powers (Bass) and Josh Caplin (Drums).

Their latest single ‘Break’ amalgams flourishing guitar riffs that send electric pulses tingling down your spine, not to mention the ferocious drums from Josh round the track off in a neat package.

The band promoted the single with a three-date tour amid an exciting time for the band. Vigorously writing and experimenting to define their own sound the band are certainly ones to look out for.
