London indie rock four-piece Shrimp Eyes have been absolutely killing it in 2024 which has culminated with the release of the band’s debut EP ‘Monochrome’.
From releasing hit singles ‘Adventures,’ ‘Side Quest,’ ‘Sunshine/Shadow,’ and ‘Fiction,’ – which all feature on the EP – to radio play on major stations BBC Introducing London, 6Music, and Radio X, Shrimp Eyes are a band on the rise.
‘Monochrome’ is a six-track EP with anthemic and catchy tunes which highlights their unique songwriting and witty lyricism. Elements of dream-pop and psychedelic sensibilities are heard throughout the band’s music. The title track in particular is arguably Shrimp Eyes’ best work to date. It’s ambitious and pushes their musical talents further through formulaic songwriting and shows renewed confidence.
