RAMES continue to show promise with new cut ‘Won’t Be Long’

Returning with their third single ‘Won’t Be Long’, London’s RAMES continue to grow with their infectious indie pop.

The quartet are impressing UK critics for their melodic, jangly guitar-based sound and that trend has happened again.

‘Won’t Be Long’ kicks off with frontman Alan Li’s distinct vocals as the melodic instrumentals capture all the tones perfectly.

This culminates into an euphoric chorus both catchy and uplifting in equal measures. Think The Cure but with a synth-heavy modern twist.

The ICM Ones to Watch 2020 artist has grown with every release. From 2019’s debut ‘Easy for You’ to follow up ‘She’s Gold’.

RAMES perform in perfect harmony to the mellifluous, blissful sound of the instruments thanks to the help of producer Gavin Martin (Jaws, The Twang, The Blinders) at Magic Garden Studios who has worked on every release so far.

Comprised of Alan Li (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals), Oli Zanetti (Lead Guitar), Joseph Bedord (Bass) and new band member Joe Jarvis (Drums), RAMES have ended this miserable 2020 on a high. With three successful singles under their belts, if they keep doing what they are, then it will only get better.

Apostles make rousing and melodic indie pop-rock

Relishing in shimmering indie rock, North-West band Apostles are a bundle of shiny melodic pop and nostalgic summer vibes. Returning with new single ‘Sixteen’ the Wigan-based five-piece is a soaring, button-bright, indie-pop masterpiece aimed to throw you back to those glorious summer days. Harbouring an air of swagger, the song’s twisting riffs and evoking lyrics as the band say it’s “reminiscing over good times with someone when you’re going through a tough patch with that very same person”, its sentiment familiar to many of us, and just another reason why Apostles’ own brand of indie is as resonant as it
