Pool Sharks specialise in hook-driven alt rock

Garage rockers Pool Sharks have just released their sophomore single ‘Ice Hockey’ ahead of an upcoming EP.

The Leeds-based quartet specialises in hook-driven earworms with an emphasis on energy and making the kind of music you want to hear again and again.

Their alt rock influences shine through on ‘Ice Hockey’ which combine with emo and pop to make something that would appeal to the hard-nosed crate digger and the station-flicking hairbrush singer.

It’s Off-beat pop music with crunchy guitars, vocal harmonies and basslines design to cause movement.

Pool Sharks are gearing up for a busy 2019, with an EP in the works and a stockpile of new material, this is only just the beginning. In September 2018, they self-released their single ‘thank you, have a nice day’.
